Recently, a university young girl of 21 years old was violently raped and mistreat by thugs. This is one of the many cases that occured in Haiti each day, while the justice system remain silent. Many of these women therefore, become reject of society as they are coping with their horrible experiences. Some live with suicide intent each day; they are psychologically destroyed and their past nightmares hunt them each day.
We must help them!
Women and Children in Haiti are facing an unimaginable tragedy, combining the deadly dangers of the Covid-19 with the horrors of poverty, health risks, disease, and near-starvation. 22 percent of children are chronically malnourished. Approximately 33% of children ages 6-12 do not attend school, and this percentage climbs to 40% for children ages 5 to 15 which accounts for approximately one million children. Every morning, tens of thousands of Haitian children wake up to a hazardous reality.
The shocking truth is that half the population of Haiti is on the brink of starvation, harsh health risks and chronic poverty. This includes more than 1.5 million boys and girls in urgent need of the lifesaving aid and necessary art materials you can help us provide, to make this year and the one to come a wonderful one for the youth.
The total raised from the tickets purchased will be split, with 50% of the net proceeds going to the winner and the remaining 50% going to help sexual assault victims in Haiti.
Tickets cost starts at $50 each and you can purchase as many as you wish. Remember, the more you buy the higher your chance of winning and the bigger the 50/50 prize! NOTE: we will give more people chance to win. The 50% will be split among 5 winners, with one top prize number getting 30% of the pot and the remaining 20% will be split among 4 other winners.
Example: let's say, we raise $10,000; $3,000 will go to a top prize winner and the remaining $2,000 will go to 4 other winners at $500 a piece and the other 50% which is $5000 will go to HAND INTERNATIONAL INC to support our causes. We believe in giving more as more people are willing to help us. Therefore, in a 50/50 raffle, usually one winner will just get 50%; so with us, instead of giving just $5,000 to one winner in the $10,000 example, we split the 50% among 5 winners but still give a big jackpot to a top winner. Likewise, if we raise $100,000 instead of giving $50,000 to just one winner; $30,000 will go to a top winner and $20,000 will go to 10 other winners at $2000 a piece.
We believe this is a more win-win for more people.
Entry period: 04-19-22 through 05-31-22. WINNERS WILL BE PICKED AT RANDOM.
The draw will be made on June 1st, 2022. The winner will be emailed and announced on our social media (Facebook & Instagram page). Winnings will be paid by bank transfer, Check or Paypal.
