About Hagar's Heart

 

Hagar’s Heart was founded to support women in crisis, to connect women in a community, and to inspire women to rediscover how they are seen, valued, and loved. 

 

Our goals for 2021 include:

  1. Support 4 new women's domestic violence shelters
  2. Provide a special Mother's/Women's Day Brunch for each domestic violence shelter we partner with, in May.
  3. Continue Santa's Shack: where domestic violence shelter children can shop for their mom's for Christmas! Single women will be served too.

 

 

Official Tax-Exempt Organization

Hagar's Heart operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Women's Nonprofit Alliance, an official 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit parent organization. As an Alliance Partner of the WomensNPA, we are able to accept tax-deductible donations. All online donations will appear on your bank statement as "Women's Nonprofit Alliance”, however, funds are directly credited to Hagar's Heart.

Giving Options

$20SELF-CARE LEVEL

Fourteen self-care items are placed in each I SEE YOU Box every month. On average, each item is $10-$20. Your monthly donation of $20, will help us to always have supplies on hand, to make an I SEE YOU Box, at a moment's notice.

$25SEEN, WORTHY, LOVED LEVEL

A $25 monthy donation will allow us provide self-care items, such as: adult coloring books, stress balls, art projects, and yoga in domestic violence shelters. It will allow a woman to learn and develop new tools to use for coping with stress and trauma.

$30ENCOURAGEMENT LEVEL

Your monthly donation of $30 provides 2 women with self-care items to begin facing her life changing situation and begin the process of understanding she is seen, worthy, and loved. Your ENCOURAGEMENT level monthly donation will help 24 women in 2021!

$45UNDERSTANDING LEVEL

One in 3 women have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime. Your monthly donation of $45 provides 3 women with self-care items to begin facing her life changing situation and begin the process of understanding she is seen, worthy, and loved. Your UNDERSTANDING level monthly donation will help 36 women in 2021!

$50COMMUNITY LEVEL

The Community Level provides for ALL women! It allows Hagar’s Heart to schedule social gatherings, virtual and face to face, provide a platform through Right Now Media for growth mindset, and important conversations about each other. This COMMUNITY level will renew countless women!

 

$100SERVANT LEVEL

Your $100 monthly donation will provide 7 women with self-care items to begin facing her life changing situation and begin the process of understanding she is seen, worthy, and loved. Your SERVANT level monthly donation will help 84 women in 2021!

$250Mother's Day Brunch

In the year 2020, Hagar's Heart provided a Mother's Day brunch for one shelter. In the year 2021, Hagar's Heart will provide 5 Mother's Day brunches for local domestic violence shelters.

 

Each brunch will be approximately $250 for a mom's/women's only brunch and small gift for all women.

$1,000SHELTER SPONSOR

On average, domestic violence shelters have an average of 60 women. Our goal for 2021, is to introduce Hagar's Heart to 4 new local shelters. We provide an I SEE YOU Box to each woman currently in residence. For your donation, we will also recognize you on our social media outlets and in our monthly newsletter!
