CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

 

C.I.T.Y. of Support is hosting our first "GENERO-C.I.T.Y. Recycled Toy Sale" with several goals in mind:

  • Help increase awareness & raise funds for C.I.T.Y. of Support
  • Create opportunities for families to donate gently-used toys & books during the holidays
  • Invite volunteers to participate in a meaningful project that positively impacts our organization & the community
  • Provide options for families, teachers, & therapists to shop for quality curated items at a reduced cost 

 

We are collecting donations of toys, games, and books in good condition that support

play development for children of all ages & abilities STARTING TUESDAY, 11/26!  

 

Please bring your gently-used items to our GENERO-C.I.T.Y. Pop Up Shop location during our Community Drop-Off Hours: 

  • Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs evenings from 6:00-8:00pm
  • Fri, Sat, or Sun mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm  

 

ALSO, below is a list of places that are currently acting as Collection Sites and accepting public donations throughout the weeks leading up to the event:

 

  • Baird & Warner: 210 W. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights, 60004

 

If you'd like to join other "Santas" around town and become your own collection site, please contact us here or email: hello@cityofsupport.org!  We will happily drop off a big red bag for you, and you can decide if you'd like to host a public collection (and we will add your name/address on the list above) or a neighborhood collection of your own.
