The Guardians of the Galena & U.S. Grant Museum are essential to our mission to bringing light and life to the legacy of Galena and the Driftless region.
Because you do so much for the museum and the Galena-Jo Daviess County Historical Society, we would like to bring our Guardians together for light refreshments at the museum at 211 S. Bench Street.
Since we have so many wonderful Guardians, we have TWO DATES for this gathering:
Thursday, June 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
We'll have light refreshments, give you a behind-the-scenes tour of our museum, share an update on the new museum and upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Most importantly, we would like to thank you for supporting our organization and all that you do to preserve the history of our region.
RSVP to the date that works best for you by ordering your FREE ticket by clicking on the green button that says "GUARDIANS AT THE MUSEUM AFTER HOURS" in the upper right corner of the screen or call Administrative Assistant Jean Matthiessen 815-777-9129 to say you'll join us either on Thursday, June 20 or Wednesday, June 26.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Shelby Miller, Curator and Director of Education and Outreach
