Welcome! We are so excited to celebrate our 8th Annual Futures Inc. Gala + Fashion Show featuring apparel and accessories from our very own Good Cause Gifts!
We are thrilled to announce a new, hybrid format for the event this year. This new spin on our amazing annual event will allow those able to attend to join us on-site at the Aqua Turf and to expand our reach beyond our local community to the larger region with a virtual experience.
The past year has been an unprecedented experience for our society and our community. Our focus has been on serving the needs of our growing community in the safest and most effective ways possible. Our dedicated and creative team of professionals has rolled up our sleeves and put on a mask to find new and exciting ways to connect as a community and this year’s Gala and Fashion Show is no different.
While the format may be new, you can expect many of the same traditions you have come to enjoy over the past eight years along with a few new surprises. Our runway will be full of style and personality thanks to our charming models, staff and consumers, and seasonal apparel and accessories from our very own social enterprise - Good Cause Gifts. We are blown away by the early donation of auction items and lovingly curated gift baskets, and can’t wait to serve our guests - both on-site and virtual - tasty treats from The Kitchen at Futures, Inc.
Our community needs your support more than ever to rebuild educational, personal, and job placement opportunities for our consumers as we all come out of this pandemic. Individuals with disabilities were some of the hardest hit by closures of major job sites and a slow down in the economy as a whole. But we know that with a little creativity, a lot of innovation, and your generous support, we can come out of this crisis stronger than ever.
