Who are the Friends of St. Michael School?

Friends of SMS are supporters who donate to fund enrichment and community building activities for students, teachers, staff and families throughout the school year. This year, our goal is to raise $100 (or more!) from as many friends as possible. Our initial goal was $15,000 for our inaugural year, but we have extended it to $25,000! Please consider donating to the Friends of St. Michael’s fund, sponsored by your Parent Association, to support and invest in our school.

Why become a Friend?

There are numerous benefits to becoming a Friend of SMS!

First, you get the feel-good of knowing you’ve invested in the education and learning experience of a child, teacher or community you love!
Second, your gift will directly impact education both in and outside the classroom by helping teachers fund neat experiential projects in-house and adventures outside the classroom like field and service trips!
Third, St. Michael School is a non-profit so your gift will be tax deductible.

Funds raised through our Friends will support other important Parent Association initiatives like:

recording and streaming choir concerts for our friends and family who live far away and can’t be present in person,
supporting the 8^th grade class trip to make their last year at SMS even more memorable,
meaningful teacher appreciation to make sure our educators feel the love,
community building events throughout the year and more!

	$15,000 Dress Down Day and Pizza Party Lunch

	$10,000 Dress Down Day Our SMS kids LOVE their dress down days and will earn one for the entire school when they reach $10,000! If everything goes as planned, the entire school will be wearing their own “Friends of St. Michael School” T-shirts!

$100 Friend

Become a Friend of SMS and get a friendship bracelet made by an SMS student and a vinyl sticker showing your support!

$250 BEST Friend

Friends are nice, but a BEST Friend is even nicer! Your donation at this level comes with a friendship bracelet, Vinyl Sticker and long sleeve shirt.

$500 BEST FRIEND FOREVER

Friends come and go, but BFF's are here for a lifetime! This incredibly generous donation will make a tremendous difference in the lives of our kids this year. BFF's receive a friendship bracelet, a Vinyl Sticker and a hooded sweatshirt.

All of this talk of 'Friends of' clothes has me excited! So excited that when we raise $25,000 for the Friends of SMS, your Parents Association will purchase every student in the school their very own Friends of SMS shirt to show off their school pride!
