Join the Dorado Beach Ballet Girls and their community, along with IslandCorps.org , in providing 200 nourishment food boxes to school children and families in Vieques and Culebra this holiday season!
IslandCorp's mission is bold, and our goals are clear: to eradicate childhood poverty in all its forms, disrupt public education, and transform pediatric public health in Puerto Rico. We believe every child on the island deserves a sacred childhood filled with the joy of learning, the freedom to play, and the foundation to grow up happy and healthy.
This year, thanks to the Dorado Beach Ballet Girls and their community, we focus our efforts during the holiday season on bridging the gaps of basic needs for children in our adopted schools in Vieques and Culebra, who deserve the same nutritional opportunities as any child. We are determined to provide 200 boxes of nutrition and sustenance to these families, ensuring that no child goes to bed hungry and every child wakes up with the promise of a brighter tomorrow this holiday season.
But we can't achieve this compassionate mission of loving care alone. We need your support.
By contributing to the IslandCorps 2023 FOOD DRIVE Fundraiser, you're not just donating food but investing in the future of these young minds so they can have a happier holiday season. Your generosity will create positive change that echoes throughout their lives, communities, and Puerto Rico. We want to bridge the gap to access fresh food to find sustainable solutions to the nutritional issues affecting the children in our adopted Title I public schools. Here's how you can make a difference:
