Findlay Kitchen

Findlay Kitchen, operated by the nonprofit Corporation for Findlay Market, is a food business incubator that supports foodpreneurs looking to start, grow, and scale their businesses by providing affordable access to licensed commercial kitchens, wraparound business services, and access to exclusive sales channels and opportunities.

Findlay Kitchen places special emphasis on cultivating BIPOC, women and immigrant-owned businesses, which currently comprise 80% of Findlay Kitchen members. By lowering the barriers to entry for our foodpreneurs, we are able to provide access to opportunities they otherwise might not have.

As Isis Arrieta-Dennis, owner of The Arepa Place, says, "Everything related to our pop-up was advised by Findlay Kitchen. All the equipment, even how to portion the food, and how much you should charge... all these techniques were coming from the Kitchen. Without their help, we wouldn’t be here.”

Ebony Pickins, owner of Flavors of The Isle, adds, "Findlay Kitchen has been essential for the growth of my business… If you don't have any help as a minority-owned woman business, you're not going to be able to survive. It's just that simple. I know for a fact I would not be able to survive. I would probably still be in my kitchen cooking just for my family and friends."
