Thank you for choosing to join us this for a WONDERFUL afternoon in a very special and tranquil gem of a place nestled in East Austin. The Festival Beach Food Forest, it's sister the Community Gardens and the community they serve, the RBJ Senior Center, welcomes your presence in the conversation of how to grow and expand with grace and purpose.

RIGHT NOW you have the opportunity to help us create a model for how communities can come together and grow food and medicinals, how they can celebrate together regardless of differences, how to educate our children in natural and healthy ways and how to honor those who came before us.

Schedule: 

• 12pm join us for free lunch after the workday (feel free to also join us for the Workday that starts at 9am- you can sign up for that here)

• 12:30 - 1:45 we'll fill you in on the recent expansion progress and ask for your thoughts.

We will be managing all activities so that we honor the COVID-19 guidelines set forth by Austin Public Health. Please bring and wear a face mask, respect others and be prepared to social distance as you participate in the event. 

Bring a basket or bag to harvest herbs and plants and a water bottle and other preparations that you might take if you were going on a very gentle trail walk in the hill country.
