The Downtown San Diego Partnership Foundation is working to raise awareness and funds to reduce homelessness in our community. Since 2010, alongside our homeless outreach team, the Downtown Partnership has collaborated with Downtown stakeholders, local leaders, and regional service providers to help connect people with housing and services. In 2018 alone, the homeless outreach team made contact with more than 4,000 individuals. Many of these contacts turn into chances to help people in their journey out of homelessness by providing necessities like rent, security deposits, or transportation assistance. This annual fundraiser gives everyone in the room an opportunity to participate in this work and make a difference in our community.
