2021 Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace

Join us for this year's At-Home Edition! Proceeds from the Day support the preservation, maintenance and operations of the Palace and grounds.

There are several ways to get into the spirit of the Day:

  • Purchase your very own Pūʻolo Aloha, a highly curated supporter box featuring all the elements you've come to expect from the Day!
  • Order a delicious Prime Rib Dinner with Au Jus and Horseradish, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, and Punaluʻu Sweetbread Pudding from Pagoda Floating Restaurant to enjoy with 4 to 6 of your family or friends.
  • Add Punaluʻu Sweet Bread (Guava, Taro, or Traditional) to your order for a taste of Hawaiʻi with your Prime Rib Dinner or just to slather with the Daughters' homemade jams and jellies.
  • An exceptional selection of the Daughters' famous homemade jams and jellies are available a la carte.
  • Enter for your chance to win a California King Size Hawaiian Quilt with Two Shams in a colorful Cattleya Orchid pattern. Winner will be announced on Saturday, October 2.

 

The Online Auction is open for bidding, featuring some very special items and experiences. The auction closes at midnight on October 8 and new items are added every day!

 

On October 2, an exciting line-up of Hawaiian music and hula performances will be available to watch on our website. The entertainment will be hosted by KITVʻs Lei Uʻi Kaholokula and include local favorites such as:

  • Royal Hawaiian Band
  • Punahou Alumni Glee Club
  • Hālau Nā Pua Hala Kūnou I Ke Kai (Kumu Hula Kanoe Chang Williams)
  • Hālau Nā Wainohia (Kumu Hula Tony Conjugacion)
  • Honolulu Harp Ensemble

 

This is a whole new way to experience Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace and even though we may be distanced from each other, we're thrilled to be experiencing it together. On October 2, for the Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace, we hope you are able to unwrap your Pūʻolo Aloha, sit down for your Prime Rib Dinner, and watch some great local Click & Play Entertainment from the comfort and safety of your home. As always, proceeds from the Day will support the historic preservation, maintenance and operations of the Palace and grounds.
