Join us to help end human trafficking through dance!
Challenge yourself! Our dance-a-thon participants engage in a day of dance that is physically and mentally challenging. Dancers are taught by amazing instructors and learn choreography in a variety of styles. For each piece of choreography learned, dancers have the opportunity to perform at the Dance for Freedom Showcase that evening. Dancers of all levels will grow through this intense learning-to-performance model, all while having tons of fun!
Educate yourself! An education portion of the dance-a-thon is dedicated to learning about human trafficking in an age appropriate manner and equips dancers with ways to fight and prevent trafficking. We also focus on practical steps to teach young dancers how to protect themselves and others.
Impact your community! At the end of the day, all participants are given the option to perform at the Dance for Freedom Showcase. The showcase is open to the public and is a great way to share their talents and the message of freedom with their community. This event is so much fun and is a great way for young dancers to engage in justice, freedom, and express themselves through the art of dance. Every dollar raised for both the Dance-a-thon and Showcase goes directly to our Abolition Partners to help stop and prevent human trafficking worldwide and in our own communities. Senior (Intermediate/Advanced Dancers ages 12 and up) - $20 event only/$40 event + T-shirt*
Junior (Beginning/Intermediate Dancers ages 12 and up) - $20 event only/$40 event + T-shirt*
Mini (Dancers ages 6 - 11 - half day experience) - $10 event only/$30 event + T-shirt*
