We are thrilled to announce that Chef Sharon Van Meter, CEO of SVM Productions, the leader in the television and radio culinary world, has joined our team as Honorary Chef Chair and will recruit and manage the participating chefs. We are grateful for her support!
This year’s Dallas All Star Chef Classic will feature Dallas’ top chefs and their delectable tastings for you to enjoy, while the Jordan Kahn Orchestra will keep your toes tapping!
In order to raise the necessary funds to continue our mission, we are seeking your financial support, as we are seeing an unprecedented number of homeless individuals suffering with substance abuse. In 2022, we served over 600 Residents with a 31% Success Rate! Additionally, Tillman House, our sober, affordable, fully-furnished apartment-style living facility for our Successful 24 Graduates, had a 65% Success Rate. We need your support to continue helping these individuals with their brand new start.
Please consider helping us continue to make an even greater impact in 2023 by being a Sponsor for this year’s Dallas All Star Chef Classic.

CO-CHAIRS
Kristin and James Hallam

Kristin Case Hallam a native Houstonian, grew up in New Waverly outside of Conroe, Texas. She has always been dedicated to her studies, but at an early age spent her extra time raising blue butt pigs, bunnies, and plants as a member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). She is a two-time Grand Champion Horticulture winner. Through middle and high school, she modeled, held pageantry titles, and cheered competitively. Growing up, everyone in her family worked and went to church on Sundays. Her father retired from Houston Police Department after thirty years as a narcotics officer. While her mother was a cop at the Houston PD, she now practices in the private sector as a private investigator.
After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and an emphasis in Business and Fashion Merchandising, a career in law enforcement ensued. Kristin is a former Special Agent, Federal Investigator. Kristin spent three years working for the government in Washington D.C. before going into the private sector to raise children and be a mother. In 2008, Kristin created Cheetah Swift, LLC which is a court service company, and is the CEO and Managing Member of that organization.
After remarriage in 2021 and getting her master’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University, you could say she is ready for her next adventure. Kristin is married to James Robert Hallam and her interests are fashion, cooking, and traveling. Fun Fact: She has 5children and 5 pets.
James Robert Hallam is born and raised in Dallas, Texas. As far back as he can remember, he loved being a Texan. At an early age, it was school, sports, friends, family, and church. Growing up in the Park Cities was a privilege and a wonderful childhood experience. Always enjoyed spending the summers at Camp and going down to South Padre Island with the family. After going to Park Cities schools up to his freshman year of Highschool James attended Kemper Military School, where he graduated in 1988.
He started working at an early age for the Dallas Morning News, delivering newspapers in the neighborhood. After his paper route, he began mowing lawns and worked at Ben E. Keith Beersin in 1985. His first job was in the repack room, where all the damaged beer went to be sorted and put back into sellable packaging. After graduating from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, James took a position with Ben E. Keith Beers in the Fort Worth division as a sales trainee. In 2005, James graduated from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business with a master’s in business administration.
Currently, James is an Executive Vice President of Ben E. Keith Company and serves on numerous boards. Most of the focus is on Government affairs but still has a passion for hunting, fishing, and shooting.
