In grief, we use such words as heaviness, darkness, flatness, overwhelm. This can feel especially sharp during the holidays. And yet, even here, there are ways to create those “cracks the light shines through.”**
Explore with others, incremental steps you can take to invite joy into your life. We will play with some ways we can be active in evoking a sense of joy, peace, serenity and even energy.
We will experiment with:
*Creative writing and art (NO experience required)
*Movement and music
*Creation of a sacred space to remind you of your capacity for joy
You will need:
*Lots of unlined paper
*Markers or crayons
*Pens or pencils
*A willingness to play and experiment and share
