Lifetime Achievement Award - Bryan Hardeman
The Caritas of Austin Lifetime Achievement Award is a special honor given to a community member who, during their lifetime, has made significant contributions of outstanding philanthropic significance in ending homelessness in Austin. These contributions include volunteerism, philanthropic donations and activism on behalf of Caritas of Austin.
Caritas of Austin is proud to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Bryan Hardeman at Songs of Hope on September 15th.
Bryan began his career in commercial banking before deciding to purchase Continental Cars and go into the car business. This success would make him the youngest authorized Mercedes-Benz and Honda dealer in the country.
With a sincere love for his community, Bryan's philanthropic donations to various local organizations such as SAFE Alliance, Center for Child Protection, and The Ukraine Christian Relief Fund have demonstrated devotion, compassion and generosity for all people. Recent gifts include $1 million from the Hardeman Family Foundation to the Austin History Center Association and $1 million to Angelo State University in honor of his late father, Senator Dorsey B. Hardeman. Read more here.
