2020 Christmas Store

Share the joy of Christmas by serving at the Christmas Store where families will purchase new gifts for $1, $3, $5, $10 (bikes are $20), taking stress out of the holiday season.

Why Host a Christmas Store?

Most of the families who will be assisted through the Christmas Store are working people who simply cannot absorb the added expenses of the holiday season. Gifts, big meals, traveling to see friends and relatives… even a Christmas tree can be an extravagance they can’t afford.

Who can shop a the Christmas Store?

Families who are served by the ministries at Christian Resource Center.

Parents, please register by December 1, 2020 with your Ministry Leadership Team.

The ministries include: ACTS of Love, CARS, Christian Family Counseling Service, Career Life Ministry, Faith Restoration Home, Jail to Jobs, Job Seekers Network, Life Bridge Job Corps, Reveal Resource Center and Trotter House.

What to bring to qualify to shop at the Christmas Store

Parents should bring: an ID to confirm registration from the ministry that they are served by through the CRC.

What will happen at the Christmas Store?

We’ve changed things up a bit this year to help keep everyone safe & healthy. We’re offering a drive-through store – with festive decorations, music, holiday treats and a welcome team!

Parents will select gifts for their children in advance – up to 3 gifts per child – via a catalog (corresponding to gifts designated on the Amazon Wish List). Each gift will be priced at $1, $3, $5 or $10, and large items priced at $20. Once toys selections are made and donations have been received, volunteers will gather each family’s items for the family to purchase and pick up on December 12th. Each family’s box of gifts will also include wrapping paper.

Where do the toys come from?

Toys are donated by CRC supporting churches, member ministries and local businesses.  New toys for infrants to teenagers are needed.  We would lik to have all monetary and toy donations as early as possible this year, and no later than December 6th.

Toys can be purchased through our Amazon Wish ListWhen you shop through the Amazon Wish List you won't have to worry about dropping off the toys because they are shipped directly to us!  If you need to schedule a drop-off time please contact Michelle Johnson at contactus.crc@gmail.com.

Where will the money gathered from the Store go?

All of the money received through the Christmas Store purchases will go into an education scholarship fund used to assist families in need at the CRC.

Who can volunteer at the Christmas Store?

Volunteers of all ages are welcome – social distancing and masks required. Thank you for serving!
