How do we become rooted and unified in such divisive times?

Join us for Rooted, a two-day professional and personal development experience based on the model of conflict transformation. This training is designed to deepen your practice of inclusion and equity, and equip you with communication tools to navigate difficult conversations. Each day will include a combination of experiential workshops, community conversations on relevant issues to the U.S., and mindfulness practices focused on presence and peace.

Ideal participants: Community leaders (youth and adults) and professionals seeking to deepen their practice of inclusion and equity, and gain communication tools to navigate difficult discussions.

Training take-aways :
- New insights around personal and interpersonal identities (i.e. race, gender, citizenship status, etc.)
- Anti-Oppression frameworks and resources
- Practice of conflict transformation conversations with other community members
- Concrete listening skills you can put into practice in your community

We hope to create a space that is racially and ethnically diverse, with representation across the age and gender spectrum. If you are working to build connection, drive change, or engage diversity in your workplace, school, or community, this is the training for you!

**Scholarships available upon request.  We are committed to making this training accessible to all people.  Please email jenny@buildingbridgesshift.org to let us know what support you need in order to attend.**

Building Bridges draws on 25 years of experience from programming built on a model of conflict transformation that was forged among Palestinian, Israeli, and US-based participants. The result is a model that has now been adapted for the issues most-relevant to leaders here in Metro Denver today.
