On May 4th, BraveOnes Foundation is hosting their 4th Annual Bowl-A-Thon Benefit at Fountain Bowl. BraveOnes Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Huntington Beach, CA, founded in memory of the first BraveOne, Hendrix Kunze.
Our team is excited to participate + help raise funds for BraveOnes’ programs, including Meaningful Meals and Toys for Joy. Both programs partner with local businesses, including restaurants and Lakeshore Learning Center, to fulfill BraveOnes’ mission to “create childhood joy for children in need.” This cause is close to my heart.
This year, the proceeds are going to directly support the Huntington Beach Union High School District Unified Sports Programs!
At Edison SAC, we wholeheartedly support Special Olympics Unified Sports® because it embodies our core values of inclusion and community. By participating in Unified Sports, our students have the opportunity to break down barriers, foster friendships, and build important life skills while engaging in sports activities alongside their peers. Supporting Unified Sports aligns with our mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and create a more inclusive society where everyone is valued and respected. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and promote social inclusion through the power of sports.
Thank you for helping our team make a striking difference for children in need one pin at a time!
All donations will receive an email receipt for the donor’s charitable tax records.
