We have found the land we believe will be perfect for cultivating the growth of our ranch ministry!
Located just 10 minutes outside of Denton, TX, the 120+ acres will allow us to create the sanctuary these families need, while also keeping us close enough to have them plugged into jobs, schools and hospitals.
It's a beautiful property with expansive green fields, lined with mature trees, a few rolling hills and a lazy creek that runs all the way across.
It is plenty of space to build out our vision of the 20 or more "mother cottages" along with barns, greenhouses, the community center and staff housing. With plenty of space for grazing our farm therapy animals and creating a self-sustaining "green" environment.
Our vision is to be a source of support for the single pregnant mothers in our community for decades to come, so we need space to create those resources with the ability to grow once we have planted ourselves in a certain place. Our desire is to be close to the DFW metroplex so we can help our mothers to become self-sufficient and indepedent over the time they spend with us, so they need to be close enough to the city to access those better jobs.
Our commitment to this ministry is to start debt free. These mothers depend on us for their housing, and we never want to do anything to risk not being able to support them once we have committed to helping them. Our goal is to purchase the property in cash with no loans. And here in Texas, land sells quickly... which is why we have set a short time frame of just 60 days to raise the $3 Million.
If this particular property is sold out from under us before we can raise the money, we will keep raising money for the purpose of the ranch and begin looking for another property that will best fit our needs.
