To your right you can register for our exciting spring event - Beyond the Books! By registering you'll also have access to a Livestream of our event on April 17th at 8 PM Eastern Time featuring the story of one of students and how you helped her and her family get past seemingly insurmountable challenges last year.
In this past year, you, our generous supporters, stood with us through it all: You were there for them when the harsh COVID-19 Lockdown hit our student's community. You were there to provide textbooks, school supplies, and laptops for distance learning. You were there to give scholarships to the Class of 2020.
Now is our chance to do more:

Team Trivia!
Some of what we've learned this past year seems trivial until... you use it to beat people at trivia! Have extra fun on your weekend by signing up for trivia, hosted by the delightful John Kuryan and Jon George, board members of Bloom India.
You can register solo or find a group of your favorite people and sign up as a team! If you register before April 15 you get a free raffle ticket!

Frequently Asked Questions
What will the event look like?
You will hear directly from one of our students about her experience during the Covid-19 shutdown, doing distance-learning this year, and her hopes for the future. We will share about Bloom India’s mission, and then jump into trivia. Then, we will give out prizes to the top 3 teams, draw raffle winners, and celebrate reaching our fundraising goal! We’ll be done in under an hour.
Tell me more about the trivia.
It will be mostly general trivia, except for one section on India education and culture. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams/individuals.
Explain the Team trivia.
Team members will play using an app on their mobile device, which tabulates your team score. So, you can be in the same room, or miles apart. You can invite friends all over the country (or world!).
Do I need to be part of a team?
No, you can play individually, but it is more fun to play as a team. Plus, for those of you who have been table hosts in the past, this is a great way to invite friends to learn about our mission. And, you get one free raffle ticket for forming a team!
How do I register a team?
Just answer “yes” to that question when you register for the event. Give your team a name so that your members can select your team that night. We do NOT need to know who will be on your team. So, you can sign up while still figuring out who will be on your team.
Can kids participate?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event. Older kids can register to play on their mobile device. Younger kids can answer questions with you.
