So, what is The Center? 

Over the past four years, we have seen a dire need in the community for job training, employement opportunities and the need for stable employment in order to afford housing and become active members in the community. The Center  will be a safe, structured facility for women who need to learn job skills to make them more employable in the future.  Through this program they will learn how to manage finances not only their own but that of a company or small business, learn effective budgeting tools and other skills to aid them in successful community reintegration along with the importance of a good work ethic and how to market yourself in a confident way.  This will be a paid on-the-job training program and although it might not be the job they want to have forever it will give them a hand up to learn new skills and become more employable or it will give them additional income needed to continue to be self sufficient and meet the needs of their family.  The Center will be  a beacon of hope that will greatly improve a woman’s chance for success.
