We are SO EXCITED to have you join us for FUND A FUTURE,
our first online auction supporting the work of Belle and Sparrows and the women we serve.
The auction will live from Sunday, May 3 - Wednesday May, 6.
Because of Covid-19, we were forced to cancel all trips for spring and summer, serving monthly with our local partners, and our major spring fundraiser- Birdies for Belles. While we had much different plans for the spring of 2020, we have had to get creative so that Belle and Sparrows can go on.
We need your help to raise $15,000 (that's our goal for spring) for Belle and Sparrows to continue investing in the women we've been called to serve
with the message that they are worthy, loved and seen.
How does FUND A FUTURE work?
It simple...click on the "auction tab" and then you have three ways to participate:
1. Bid on auction item/s - find the item/s you want to bid on, provide your information, make your bid and proceed with check out. (You will be notified when someone else has out bid you so you can bid again.)
*You may notice that auction items may not seem like a great "deal", but we have listed them at a discount. This way you can have a more fun online shopping experience and help us recoup money that we would have raised at our cancelled, Birdies for Belles, golf tournament.
2. Fund A Need/s - find the item/s you want to fund, select and proceed with check out.
3. Donate Now - if auctions aren't your thing and you want to graciously make a donation, select the Donate Now button and proceed with check out.
What will FUND A FUTURE fund?
The money raised from this auction will help support the programming we have for our women; art therapy, meals, childcare, speakers we bring in and business kits. It also helps with the the daily operation of Belle and Sparrows; it will pay for our admin, office supplies, advertising and marketing budgets.
A Little About Us:
Belle and Sparrows is a by women for women non-profit that reaches women both locally and globally through a mission trip experience.
Our teams actively come alongside and stand in the gap for marginalized and under-resourced women around the world by:
• teaching skills for economic sustainability
• providing encouragement to women as they brave the struggles of poverty,
addiction recovery, abuse and incarceration -all while sharing the redeeming love of Christ
We get to witness how hope is gently restored as her walls are brought down when she is encouraged and validated.
We get a front-row seat to amazing life-transformation in both the women we serve and the women who join our efforts and come with us.
Who We Serve:
We serve women who are or have been marginalized and under-resourced. We serve women who are at-risk and vulnerable. We serve women who live in extreme poverty. We serve women who are formerly incarcerated, in addiction recovery, women who have left domestic abusers, who have been trafficked and women who find themselves homeless or in transition. We serve your neighbor, your sister, your friend.
Fund A Need is a way for you to help support the work of Belle and Sparrows by helping us keep our travel costs down as well as provide for the women we serve
