An amazing showcase of awesome bands! Come enjoy a great venue, awesome music & food, and support a great cause that helps families dealing w/ cancer, when they need it the most.

For four years now Social Quencher has organized an “Officially Unofficial” SXSW Showcase - it's not officially a SXSW event, but more of a showcase of local Austin bands & artists that we feel deserve some attention - this year Tony Foundation is the benefiting charity. This year our event will be held on Thursday, March 12th at Rustic Tap (West 6th Street). We’ve welcomed ~200 guests at each event, which has only continued to improve each year. We’re proud to have showcased Eric Burton of the Grammy Nominated Black Pumas, Billy King and the Bad Bad Bad (named one of “Austin’s Bands to Watch” by Do512 that same year), Foxi Moxi w/ The Kid Due (who have played our showcase multiple times and always bring a stellar crowd)… and a list of others who simply want to celebrate the musicians that are right here in our awesome city by getting the party started one night early with us.
