As we are able to come back together, come join us to celebrate that even during the time of a pandemic, Back 2 School Illinois helped over 25,000 kids with the school supplies needed to continue their education.
At our Gala there will be a cocktail reception, silent auction, wine pull, dinner buffet, live music, coffee bar, after party, a dessert bar and open bar throughout the evening. The program will be emceed by Wayne Johnson. Wayne is the winner of the Today Show’s “Domestic Diva” contest and has been a contributor for NBC 5 Chicago, Good Morning America, and Windy City Live. His over 400 “Wayne’s Weekend” segments on TV and his YouTube channel have and continue to explore everything from cooking and party planning, to home decorating, crafts, new things happening in the city and more.
Evening Timeline:
- 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Cocktail Reception featuring open bar and dinner buffet; Silent Auction
- 7:30 pm – 8:15 pm – Program
- 8:15 pm – 9:30 pm – After Party featuring live jazz music, open bar, dessert and coffee bar; Silent Auction (auction bidding ends at 9:00 pm)

NOTE: There will be plenty of room to spread out and the Galleria Marchetti is an indoor/outdoor venue. Our event will take place in the Galleria Marchetti's Courtyard, Tented Pavilion, and Pergola, which are outdoor spaces.
We will follow all the precautions and rules as outlined by the CDC and Chicago officials.
