Hello Friends & Family! I am currently participating on the nonprofit board of my local Y (Townlake YMCA Austin).

I decided to join the YMCA to find a way to give back to the community in a diverse way. My experience in Austin has been amazing due to the community that surrounds it!

A lot has changed at the Y over this past year, but the commitment has remained the same—to be here for our community when people need us most, with open arms and caring hearts, no matter what comes our way.

After serving thousands of meals to families in need, providing child care for hundreds of essential workers, and caring for our most vulnerable populations, we know that there is still more that we can do. Our future is determined by what we do next. And one thing is clear. You are a part of our future and we can make the next chapter of our story stronger.
