Holders of Hope Gala • October 14th • 6:30 – 10:00 PM • Umlauf Sculpture Garden
The Austin Center for Grief & Loss is celebrating its annual Holders of Hope fundraiser and gala at Umlauf Sculpture Garden on Thursday, October 14, 2021. This year more than ever, we are pleased to showcase our services to donors and supporters who play a special role in making it possible for Austin Grief to help heal the pain of trauma and loss.
This annual event secures the funding needed to provide services to children and adults including therapy, support groups and school-based groups in Title 1 schools. Austin Grief is committed to standing in the space of grief and helping our clients hold on to tender hope for the future.
In response to the impacts of COVID 19*, Austin Grief immediately moved to telehealth therapy and expanded our services to support anyone experiencing loss, trauma, stress, and other mental health impacts due to the pandemic. To date, we are serving 100% more clients than prior to the pandemic.
Please support us as we continue to grow – ever transforming ourselves to better serve our Central Texas community, by sponsoring our HOLDERS OF HOPE DINNER & GALA.
On-line silent auction goes live beginning October 7th
The evening will feature delicious food, complimentary wine and beer, and a signature Tito's cocktail. Enjoy a live music experience by harpist Kristen Gibbs. The evening includes a fantastic silent auction, wine pull, and a Kendra Scott pop up shop.
Your sponsorship makes an enormous difference in the lives of hundreds of fellow Austinites every single year. Thank you for making this work possible, and for your continued support of thoughtful, meaningful counselling when it’s most needed.
*COVID Event Protocols:Following current health and safety guidelines for ticketed events in Austin, we are asking that all of our guests be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 ahead of the Holders of Hope Gala. Guests who are not fully vaccinated will be asked to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of the event. The event is outdoors with plenty of space and sanitizing stations add to our efforts to keep each other safe as we come together as a community to support the vital services Austin Grief provides.
