The Austin Center for Grief & Loss is celebrating its annual Holders of Hope fundraiser and gala at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden on Thursday October 17, 2019. This special event allows Austin Grief to help heal the pain of grief and trauma through transformative and therapeutic services. The Austin Center for Grief & Loss offers services to anyone in the Austin area who has suffered a significant loss whether it is from divorce, death or other loss. We assist both children and adults as they move from loss to life through therapy, education, training and consultation.
Please support us as we continue to grow – ever transforming ourselves to better serve the growing number of people suffering from grief and trauma at our HOLDERS OF HOPE DINNER & GALA, Thursday, October 17, 2019 • 6:30 – 10:00 PM • The Umlauf Sculpture Gardens.
This annual event provides the opportunity to showcase the services and work that The Austin Center for Grief & Loss offers and provides the funding needed to serve our community. Austin Grief has expanded its children services to provide two sessions of bereaved children’s day camp, Camp Red Bird; it has doubled its outreach in schools through a continued partnership with Community in Schools and now offers support groups in Spanish as well. We continue to provide individual and family therapy to any one in need regardless of their ability to pay for their services, and accept Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance. Please join our growing number of generous individuals and businesses who offer gifts of financial support, time, and energy to help fulfill our mission. This is a time for us to celebrate and appreciate the transformative healing that takes place every day at The Austin Center for Grief & Loss.
The evening will feature a catered dinner by Whim Hospitality, complimentary bar, live music featuring BettySoo, and many more delightful surprises.
