A virtual evening benefitting children after a brain injury! Join us to learn more about our mission and have the opportunity to bid on some amazing live and silent auction items.

Welcome to Hope For The Holidays! We are so glad you are here! Below is a little information for you to help you interact with us during the event.

In addition to viewing the event, you also have the option to bid on Silent Auction items, Live Auction items and contribute to our Fund-A-Need. To view any of those three you can look in the top right coner of this page, directly under the donate button. There are three icons that you can toggle between. The three people icon will allow you to view the Silent Auction, the gavel icon will allow you to view the Live Auction and the dollar icon will allow you to view Fund-A-Need.

Silent Auction Bidding:

Click the three people icon to view all Silent Auction items in the top right corner.
Scroll through the silent auction items and when you find something you would like, click on it.
On the next screen you will see the amount for the next bid. If you are comfortable with that price, click the bid button and you are good to go.
Once you have bid, click the X in the top right corner and it will take you back to the full list of Silent Auction Items so that you can continue bidding.
If you provided your cell phone number at registration you will recieve text messages letting you know if you have been outbid on an item.

Live Auction Bidding:

Click the gavel icon to view the live auction packages in the top right corner.
If are viewing the packages outside of the Live Auction segment of the event you will not be able to bid. Bidding will only be open during the Live Auction portion of the event.
Once the package you are interested in opens you can see the next bid amount.
If you are comfortable with the next bid amount simply click bid.
If you are outbid you can follow these same steps to continute to bid on the package until you win!

Fund-A-Need:

Click on the dollar sign icon in the top right corner.
On the next screen you will see a list of our Fund-A-Need needs.
Find an item you would like to fund and click on it.
On the next screen click the Give button and you will be able to provide that item to a child in need!

Donate:

You can donate at any time by clicking the donate button the top right of this page.
Enter the amount you would like to donate
Click Give Now and you are done!

Fund-A-Need Opportunities

$10,000 $10,000 Donation

$5,000 $5,000 - Home Renovations

Home renovations - Many of our families have to remodel their home to make it handicap accessible before their children come home from the hospital. Doors may need to be widened, sinks lowered, and showers made larger. This is a large expense. With your $5,000, we can help ease their financial burden of remodeling their home.

$2,500 $2,500 - Adaptive Bikes

Adaptive Bikes - Not only do adaptive bikes help with the child’s physical therapy, it helps them fit in with others and gives them a sense of normalcy. Riding a bike with family and friends is once again a reality. With your donation of $2,500, we can help them experience something they might have thought they would never do again.

$1,000 $1,000 - Special Needs Summer Camp

Special Needs Summer Camps - These camps are life changing for children who have suffered a brain injury. It is a chance for them to experience a sense of independence, to relax, and to just have fun with people who can relate to them. It is something they look forward to each year. With your $1,000, we can help send a child to camp.

$500 $500 - Horse Therapy

Hippotherapy or Horse Therapy - Horseback riding is used as a therapeutic and rehabilitative treatment. It can improve coordination, balance, and strength, as well as help them relax. Your donation of $500, will provide a child with one month of hippotherapy.

$250 $250 - Family Advocacy Program

Family Advocacy Program - Parents are frequently overwhelmed trying to navigate the systems in place, even those meant to assist. The Family Advocacy Program can assist with providing specific information quickly, reconciling the massive number of medical bills with insurance companies’ explanation of benefits, or with medical claims or special education advocacy. Your $250 donation can provide 5 hours of advocacy for a family.

$100 $100 - Brain Injury Care Package

Brain Injury Care Packages - Our care packages are distributed to families in hospitals and rehab centers. Each care package consists of a gift card/gas card, journal, resource guide, resources, and more. Your $100 donation provides a care package for a family.
