Ride starts at St. Barnabas School (10121 S. Longwood Drive, Chicago)
Ends at Notre Dame Parish in Michigan City, Indiana

On Friday, September 17 I will again be participating in a 100k (62 mile) fundraising bike ride to benefit pediatric brain tumor research. We will ride from St. Barnabas Parish on the South Side of Chicago to Long Beach, Indiana.

Last year it was cancelled due to the COVID epidemic but this year we are back!

The ride honors the life of Patrick McNamara. At the age of 2, Patrick was diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor. During his short life, Patrick endured more than 15 brain surgeries, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and countless radiation treatments. Through it all, Patrick never lost his winning spirit and love for family and friends.  Patrick died at the age of 13 from the ravages of the disease. Patrick was the child of Tom and Dee McNamara, the organizers of Pat Mac’s Pack.

Pat Mac’s Pack is a 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation established to raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research. The organization also provides funds and services directly to young cancer patients and their families. In addition, the foundation works to raise awareness about this devastating disease.

This is a cause I am very passionate about. Thanks to great and generous friends like you I was the second largest fund raiser the last ride.  If you would like to sponsor me with a donation of any amount it would be greatly appreciated.
