On Friday, May 3, 2019, Maranatha-Carlisle is hosting Maranatha: An Evening of Hope at the Carlisle Country Club in Carlisle.  This event features a delicious buffet and Jazz Me, a rhythm and blues band.    

Our organization was founded by community volunteers in 2003 and is an agency supported by the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County.  Our mission is to empower our 300+ clients to gain financial independence and live self-sustaining lives.  We help individuals and families facing budgetary challenges by establishing a realistic family budget, paying creditors and monthly bills from the client’s funds and instilling discipline and control in spending habits, as well as establishing reserve funds for unexpected expenses.  Additionally, our clients’ employers, landlords and other enjoy the benefits of their employees and tenants improved stability and reliability.

Maranatha: An Evening of Hope will allow the organization to continue to serve and grow as Maranatha is dependent on donor funding as well as community grants and organizational giving.  Join us on May 3rd as we celebrate the hope we provide to our existing clients and raise the necessary funds to provide that hope to more members of our community.
