| Dazzle your friends and family with this beautiful, one-of-a kind vase! This art glass vase was created by Richard Satava (https://satava.com/). The art glass that he creates is based on nature themes and motifs. When first starting out in the late seventies he mostly worked in the art nouveau technique as the accepted art glass style at that time. His work soon went into a different direction, creating new looks in pictorial nature scenes with designs like the Harvest Moons, Mt. Shasta (this vase), floral lines, as well as a series depicting images of Native American drawings. All of these designs have evolved throughout the 80’s and 90’s, and continue to be created with new colors, shapes and inspiration. This vase was inspired by Mount Shasta in Northern California and shows the image of trees, with wispy, wandering branches, in front of a background of silver and white "snow" with depictions of other trees in the distance. It has full images on all sides, and is signed and numbered. Vases in this series typically sell for between $600-$800. Art auction bids for Mt Shasta similar vases have sold for $350. The donor is the original owner and it was purchased directly from the Satava studio. Specs: measures 8” H x 4.25 W; excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
