What is #GivingTuesday Winter Wonderland?
This year, we're doing things a little differently! We are holding a virtual auction & live event to celebrate #GivingTuesday and Winter Wonderland.
#GivingTuesday is December 1, 2020. Our virtual auction will take place from November 18 to November 25.
On December 1, we will host a live event where we will reveal the winners of the auction.
Virtual Auction
Our virtual auction will be held online. You may bid on many wonderful items, like wine, gift cards, art made by our Shelter kids, and more.
All proceeds will be used to help our Participants transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing.
Live Event
Our live event will be held online on December 1, which is #GivingTuesday.
During our live event, we will share stories from our Shelter Participants, donors, staff, and members of our community.
We will also announce the winners of the virtual auction - with special prizes given to our most engaged supporters (so even if you don't win, you may still get a prize!)
Bidding
You may bid on any item from November 18 to November 25. Bidding will take place in real-time. You may keep track of bidding online. Once you place a bid on an item, we'll keep you informed of the status of your bid. We'll also be utilizing Text-to-Bid, so you can easily bid from your smartphone!
Can I Donate Instead of Bidding?
Yes! If bidding on an item isn't for you, you're more than welcome to support Leading Families Home through a donation.
