If you're passionate about empowering young minds and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us as a volunteer for Camp Latinitas. Our week-long, intensive day camps cover exciting themes such as filmmaking, design-thinking, video game design, coding, healthy living, entrepreneurial learning, and advocacy.
As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside program leaders, guiding students through week-long projects, and even chaperoning field trips. Your role as a mentor is crucial in helping students succeed and serving as a supportive teaching assistant.
We're currently seeking volunteers for specific camp weeks, and we'd love your assistance during any of the following:
- Volunteer shifts are available from 8:30 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
🖥️ Architecture Chica (June 10th - June 14th): Student will dive into the exciting world of architectural design with hands-on experience using cutting-edge design software.
🎙️ Media Chica (June 17th - June 21st): Lights, camera, podcast! Students will step into the world of media production and unleash their storytelling skills.
🧵 Design Chica (June 24th - June 28th): Students will explore the fundamentals of design alongside industry experts, unlocking the secrets to visual composition and creative problem-solving.
⭐️ Power Chica (July 8th - July 12th): Students will become the changemaker they were born to be, harnessing their inner strength to make a difference in their community.
⚙️ Engineer Chica (July 15th - July 12th): Students will dive into the fascinating world of engineering, where coding, design, and innovation collide. From robotics to software development, they will unleash their problem-solving skills and engineer solutions for a better tomorrow.
