All proceeds will go towards our Fortaleza Program. $1,800 fully sponsors the meeting supplies for one year of this program. Fortaleza is a community support group for teen mothers and at-risk girls in Zone 3 of Guatemala City. Fortaleza is the Spanish word that means both strong refuge and strength. It is important to appreciate that the communities are plagued with a multigenerational cycle of young pregnancies, single mothers, broken families, violence, and a severe lack of health care. However, we hope to be a place of refuge for the strong women we work alongside.

Our Fortaleza program empowers our participants with counseling from a Guatemalan psycholgoist.

$50 Sponsor a Meeting Meal

Fortaleza equips our participants with nutricious food at each meeting.

$70 Sponsor a Special Workshop

Five times a year our Fortaleza participants recieve specialized workshops from local experts! From trauma recovery to parenting guidance, the women are empowered through various education topics!
