In this workshop, students will learn all about Mechanical Engineering! 

Mechanical engineers analyze their work using the principles of motion, energy, and force. Mechanics have a large focus on physics and the different types of energies/energy transfers.

Students will be furthering their understanding of Mechanical Engineering by building catapults! Catapults help to teach physics, kinetics, kinematics, and ballistics. To participate in the activity, students will need popsicle sticks, rubber bands, a bottle cap (or anything that can be used to hold what's being launched), and cotton balls (or something else small to launch).
