Supporting the Council on Aging's SmileMaker's Holiday Gift Project

Greetings!

I'm delighted to announce that An Evening of Comedy will continue virtually this year — and the event is FREE!

On October 3rd, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM (PST), three hilarious comedians, Jay Mohr, Fritz Coleman and Frances Dilorinzo will keep you in stitches!  Mark your calendar now and enjoy the presentation on either YouTube Live or Facebook Live:

Last year, An Evening of Comedy raised $267,000 for the SmileMakers Holiday Gift Program, enabling us to deliver unexpected holiday gifts to 6,656 isolated seniors in local long-term care facilities.   These are seniors have no family or friends actively involved in their care and often feel forgotten, particularly during the pandemic. The SmileMakers Program will remind them that they are important members of our community and we love them.

Despite COVID-19, we are raising the bar in 2020 to deliver over 7,000 gifts to isolated seniors who have been hit hardest by the pandemic.

Our fundraising efforts are shifting into high gear in advance of the event.  I've partnered with my family to form The Wright Stuff Team and collectively raise $11,000 for this important cause.

Join us to provide holiday gifts to isolated seniors by contributing today to The Wright Stuff Team.  Your contribution, of any size, will help us reach our fundraising goal of $11,000.

The SmileMakers Holiday Project is only one of the several programs at the Council on Aging - Southern California that supports local seniors.
We proudly serve over 240,000 seniors annually, helping them remain healthy, connected and protected.  Visit us to learn more:  www.coasc.org

Thanks so much for your support!
