Join CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Chautauqua County for its 13th Annual Come to the Table virtual auction to support abused and neglected children!

Join CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Chautauqua County at its 13th Annual Come to the Table virtual auction to support abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes. The auction will be held on BetterUnite.com from Friday, May 14-Thursday, May 20.

Local artisans and CASA supporters come together to design beautiful tablescapes that guests can bid on. These themed tables may include everything from gift certificates and sports memorabilia to local staycations. This year our tablescapes include a 3-diamond Leo ring, a vacation to Myrtle Beach, a Jim Kelly autographed football, our much anticipated "Murder Mystery" dinner and many more! There is something for everyone!

A basket raffle and service auction will also be available. The service auction offers our guests the opportunity to donate to one (or all) of the specific services of our program. The service auction will consist of our lifebook and adoption gift programs as well as supporting our CASA volunteers. There will also be a chance to donate to the "Mary Rogers Heart of CASA Memorial Fund" which will be used to offset the costs of educational needs and extracurricular activities for children in grades K-12.

All proceeds from this event support CASA volunteers in guiding abused and neglected children through the overburdened legal and child welfare systems to find safe and permanent homes where they can become healthy, happy adults.

The winning bidders and service auction donors will recieve an email on Friday, May 21 with pick up instructions and payment instructions. Item pick up will be Sunday, May 23 and Monday, May 24. Pick up location is in Jamestown. In an effort to save money on credit card fees, we ask that our bidders pay with check or cash upon pick up.

A "People's Choice" tablescape contest will be held on Wednesday, May 19 on our Facebook page. All the tablescapes will be posted and the one with the most "likes" will win a trophy!

Mary Rogers Heart of CASA Memorial Fund

A Mary Rogers Heart of CASA Memorial Fund has been established in her honor. The fund will support children's education and extracurricular needs for those who may not have means or resources. The fund will provide children in grades K-12 with funds for educational resources, registrations, lessons, equipment, yearbooks, school outings and more.

Mary was a dedicated teacher of thirty years at Sherman Central School and 4 years at JCC before retiring. She was a community-driven and dedicated member of CASA, St. Isaac Joques RC Church, Psalmody, the Theta Beta Sorority and Beta Sigma Phi (national). Mary was always graced with a smile and gentle demeanor. She always put others needs before her own and humbly minimized her battle with breast cancer with courage and strength. Mary will be remembered for her commitment and dedication to her family and the children of her community. Her legacy will continue to make a difference in the lives of the children in our community. Mary was a living embodiment of everything CASA stands for.
