*Note: BraveOnes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This exciting event is 100% outdoors - please bring sunscreen, hats, and water (+ beach chairs/blanket if you'd like seating on the music lawn area).

FUNDRAISER | CREATING CHILDHOOD JOY

BraveOnes Foundation's 5th Annual Hangout for Hendrix Family Music Festival Fundraiser directly creates childhood joy for children in need, including through our BraveOnes' Meaningful Meals + Toys for Joy programs that partner with community businesses, as well as for Children's Hospital of Orange County's (CHOC) Mental Health and Neuroscience Units. Both units continue to have increasing needs due to the pandemic and its ongoing effects.

CHOC Mental Health - Did you know that since the pandemic the #1 reason for a CHOC Emergency Room visit is a mental health related issue? CHOC has personally seen a surge in the number of mental health in-patients ages 8-12 years old, in addition to a rise in mental health services for children as young as 4 years old. Creating childhood joy for children in need and their families is even more important than ever. In 2021, BraveOnes committed to a one time grant to fund a needed CHOC Mental Health Resource Specialist. A portion of our 5th Annual Hangout for Hendrix proceeds will directly benefit this critical position to complete our promised grant. Thank you for partnering with BraveOnes Foundation to shine a light for those that need it most!
