Volunteer time slots:
- 10:00am-12:30pm: Setup + support
- 12:00-2:30pm: Support
- 2:00-4:30pm: Cleanup + support
Volunteers will be expected to:
⭐ Man the table to distribute BRAVE materials
⭐ Coordinate and manage raffle activities
⭐ Facilitate membership giveaways
Important information:
Non-Food Vendor Check-in: Vendor check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. Vendors will enter the festival grounds from Chalmers Street between East 8th Street and East 9 ½ Street. There will be a vendor registration table as you enter the campus. We are asking vendors to be completely set-up no later than 10 AM. The participants from the march generally start arriving between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and we want to be completely set up by then.
Parking: Free parking will be available on the southwest corner of 8th and Concho St. No cars will be permitted on the festival grounds.
Canopy: If you are bringing your own canopy, you will not be able to use tent stakes. You must use some other method of anchoring your canopy, i.e., sandbags. Absolutely no tent stakes will be allowed. We are currently working out the logistics to determine whether early set up will be available for those of you who would like to set your canopy early. More information will be available closer to the event.
Campaigning: Due to the non-profit status of our organization, no political campaigning is allowed.
Electricity: Electricity will NOT be provided. Please plan accordingly.
Generators: Due to fire hazard restrictions, generators are prohibited on the festival grounds. With limited exception, only Food Vendors will be allowed to bring generators.
