Extend-A-Care has been serving the Austin community for over 50 years. Our merger in 2020 with the YMCA of Austin, has allowed our work to be amplifyed to another level. EAC YMCA continued to serve children in-person just 10 days after the pandemic shut down the city and schools closed their buildlings. We used branches to provide essential child care for essential workers who had to work the frontlines every day. It is thanks to the amazing people who show up every day to do good that we're able to respond to those in need and rise to each moment.

Our program is needed now more then ever! Our program focuses on the whole child experience with activities for physical activity, social emotional learning (self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, self-awareness, and responsible decision making), creativity, critical thinking, voice and choice, enrichment, and also provides an enviornment to allow children to have positive social experiences.

Help children attend a much needed summer camp this year. Your donation will help families who can't afford to pay the full rate for camp. We want every family and every child to have an option of participating in a summer camp filled with projects, learning, socializing, adventure, swimming, reading, and connecting. Every dollar counts. Every child matters.
