Let's get back to business on November 11th!

The students Carpe Mundi works with are full of incredible potential. However, due to inequitable access to high-impact opportunities in higher education, like mentorship and international education, the full potential of our student population often goes unrealized. Carpe Mundi knows opportunity gaps lead to achievement gaps.

We find this unacceptable.

Over the past TEN years, Carpe Mundi has worked with 118 low-income, first-generation, and BIPOC students to increase access to high-impact opportunities. These students have traveled out into the world, learning more about themselves, their community, our global community, and the endless possibilities that are open to them. After a year without international travel, we're ready to get back to our mission with our next cohort of 19 students, launching them out into the world to experience all it has to offer. We're ready for these students to see their future in a whole new light. And we'll need you, our incredible community of supporters, to make that happen.

Over the past 10 years of supporting students in Portland, we know that globally aware and empathetic leaders are needed to address the current challenges of our world. Improving access to high-impact educational opportunities is an issue of fairness and equity, but doing so also builds stronger communities. We have 19 students that are ready and budding with potential.

Our 2021 “Back to the Future Gala”  is not simply our largest revenue stream of the year.

We see this event as the time to look towards a more inclusive, globally-minded future, cultivating a wider, ever-supportive community for low-income and first-generation college students.

We invite you to continue partnering with Carpe Mundi: help us get back to business and help our students see a new future by pre-committing to our 10K matching campaign, donating, spreading the word, and joining us on November 11th, so together we can embrace a new future of potential.
